Here's how it works

Five steps, and we handle four of them.

You tell us about your car and decide whether to accept the offer. Everything in between is ours.

  1. Step 1

Enroll and tell us about your car

Create your account, confirm the ZIP code where the car is kept, then describe the car. Nothing to pay.

  2. Step 2

    Complete a UVeye inspection

Drive through a nearby UVeye system. The inspection takes place without a traditional manual walkaround.

  3. Step 3

We market your car to dealerships

We share your vehicle information and condition report with participating dealerships.

  4. Step 4

    Dealerships compete

We manage the process and identify the strongest qualified offer.

  5. Step 5

    You decide

Accept the offer and let us coordinate the closing, or decline without pressure.

Why it works

Why this process can produce a stronger result.

Nothing here is a promise about your particular car. These are the reasons a competitive, standardised process tends to work in a seller's favour.

  • A larger pool of buyers sees your car

Instead of one appraisal at one store, your vehicle is presented to hundreds of dealerships at the same time. A wider pool of potential buyers can create more competition for your specific vehicle.

  • Every dealership sees the same standardised information

Buyers receive one consistent listing package. That makes their bids directly comparable and removes the guesswork that comes from each store inspecting a car its own way.

  • Inspection data reduces uncertainty

A UVeye condition report documents the vehicle's actual condition, including areas that are hard to assess quickly. Buyers who are less uncertain about condition have less reason to discount their bid to protect themselves.

  • You never negotiate

You do not call dealerships, respond to offers, or negotiate separately with multiple buyers. We run that process and bring you the result.

  • You keep the right to walk away

Because you are not committed to selling, there is no pressure to accept a number you are not happy with. Declining costs you nothing at all — we are only paid if a sale completes.

  • We are only paid if you sell

The $300 fee comes out of your sale proceeds and nowhere else. If we cannot find you an offer worth accepting, we earn nothing, which is a fairly direct incentive to find you one.

Powered by UVeye

A better sale starts with a better inspection.

Every Car Bid Club sale begins with a UVeye inspection — the same technology dealerships rely on to assess vehicles they buy.

You drive through — that's it
Pull up to the UVeye system and drive slowly through. Most visits take only a few minutes, and there's no traditional walkaround, test drive, or sales conversation.
The system captures detailed imagery
It photographs your vehicle from angles a quick manual inspection can't cover, including the underbody and tyres, and builds a consistent record of its condition.
Buyers see one clear, trusted report
We use that condition information to present your vehicle to dealerships accurately. Buyers who are confident about condition have less reason to discount their bid to protect themselves.
No repeated appraisals
One inspection replaces a round of separate visits to different stores, each with its own appraisal process and its own opinion.

Before you enroll

The $300 fee does not guarantee a particular offer, sale price, or sale.

The $300 service fee is charged only if your car sells, and it comes out of your sale proceeds. There is nothing to pay to get started.

Some cars cannot be sold through this service — for example a leased vehicle, a branded or salvage title, or a car that does not run. If yours turns out to be one of them once you answer the ownership questions, we cannot present an offer. Because the fee is only charged on a completed sale, you will not have paid us anything.

Vehicle transportation is arranged between the seller and the purchasing dealership. Car Bid Club coordinates scheduling but transportation costs are not included in the service fee unless the offer states otherwise.

How the options compare

Four ways to sell your car.

Each approach works differently. This is a factual comparison of what each one asks of you, not a claim that any particular option produces more money.
